Thank you for your interest in the2nd Annual Zombie Escape 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. We are proud to announce that 100% of all revenue/ proceeds from this event will once again be donated to the San Diego Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (SDVOAD), a foundation that enhances the efforts of member organizations through interagency planning, relief, response and recovery activities, all directed toward the goal of giving area residents adequate and timely services, impartially and uniformly delivered, when a disaster strikes that enables individuals and groups, working together, to collaborate on projects that benefit the North County Inland community.

VOAD's exist to foster better service by its members to communities struck by disaster. This is done through preparedness activities that include planning among VOAD members and providing education to the general public, and by responding to and helping communities recover from disaster.
